Mercy Crystal Gala - February 4, 2023

Manhattan’s celebrated charity fundraising event – The Mercy Crystal Gala - returns on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Kansas State University Alumni Center.

Community generosity through the Mercy Community Health Foundation since March 2020 has funded more than a half-million dollars for patient care, the healthcare workforce, and local equipment and supplies in the following areas:

Pandemic-related Medical Supplies
Equipment related to Local Patient Care
Infant and Pediatric Programs
Education and Training
Employee Hardship Assistance
Patient Prescription Assistance

Community support represents our value of local, quality healthcare and hospital services. Recently, our hospital received an “A” grade for safety by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Rating. In addition, it was recognized as the “Best Hospital for Maternal Care” by U.S. News and World Report, one of only three hospitals in Kansas to receive this recognition. Future investments help to fund:

Equipment upgrades and technology for improved, local diagnostic capability and quicker treatment,
Preventative health programs and social services expansion for patients, as well as mental health initiatives for staff,
Education and training for the hospital’s workforce, and
Recruitment of technically-skilled and high-demand healthcare personnel.

Furthermore, hospital leaders, local providers, and stakeholders are exploring a partnership and significant facility investment to enhance local cancer diagnosis and treatment. Community commitment will be essential for the project’s success. Your support is an investment for your family, colleagues, neighbors, and community members.
